The Faith Works Project

We invite you to be the hands and feet of Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ) in times of crisis by rebuilding lives for the kingdom, by the confessions of our lips, and by the sweat of our brow. This is not for us, but for Him who sent us. It is about fulfilling the great commandments: Deuteronomy 6:5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your might; Leviticus 19:18 Love your neighbor as yourself. We do this because faith works

The Carla Project

Completed

What: Wheelchair Ramp

When: November 24 & 25, 2016 @ 8:00 AM

Where: 232 Red Hill Road Lufkin, Texas 75904

What to Bring: Gloves, Hammer, Tape Measure, any other tools, and a great spirit

Carla is in her mid 30's with stage 4 liver cancer. She is a single mom with 6 to 8 months to live and has a 10 year old son named Austin. Carla currently lives with her mother Norma Vines. She is in desperate need of a wheel chair ramp to alleviate her hardship in things we would normally take for granted such as simply getting to a dr. appt or to church. She can no longer use stairs and has trouble getting around in her mother's house. She will soon be confined to a wheelchair making impossible for her to leave her mother's home without a ramp.

This project was brought to our attention and we truly see her need. An anonymous donor has graciously contributed all the supplies needed for this project. O Quinn Baptist church is also partnering with us.

This project will start on Thanksgiving Nov. 24 and end Friday Nov. 25th. We need volunteers to come out with us who are willing to sacrifice their time for a greater good. Everyone of us who are saved are saved unto good works, this my friend is a good work. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Faith Works Project is 100% volunteer. We have no paid staff and no significant overhead. Everything we do is because of people like you who donate money, materials, and time.

In Hebrew the term shamash is applied to one who serves or waits on others. Please consider how you can become a part of this ministry through one or more of those faith works.
